AYŞE SİNEM EKŞİOĞLU, Soprano

She started her music education with piano lessons from Hande Peker. In 2003, she graduated from Bilkent University, Department of Economics and in 2008 she graduated from the same university’s Opera Department. Here she worked accompaniment with Johan Botka, acting with Gürçil Çeliktaş and singing with Gölgegül Şekeramber. She continued her vocal studies with Oylun Erdayı. She has been working at the Turkish State Opera and Ballet since 2009. She worked as a choir member and soloist in many works which were staged in Ankara, İstanbul and İzmir State Opera and Ballet Directorates. She performed J. Haydn’s Missa Brevis with Bilkent Symphony Orchestra and Vasıf Adıgüzel’s Çanakkale Oratorio with Turkish Naval Forces Band. In 2012 she attended the masterclasses entitled „L’arte Della Coloratura“ in Verona, organized by Italian soprano Stefania Bonfadelli. In 2018, she performed the role Konstanze in W.A. Mozart’s opera ‘The Abduction from the Seraglio’  at 9th. İstanbul International Opera Festival.
